収集方法
Trap designs varied. A commercially available "bee hotel" with bamboo tubes of various sizes was used in East Montpelier, while Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge traps were made from local plant stems and dimensional lumber with small holes drilled in the end.

Method step description:
- Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge traps were brought into an unheated shop in November and later brought into a heated office where many of the bees emerged and escaped their individual containers, rending the specific trap location unknown. Filled tubes from the East Montpelier trap were brought indoors in April of 2022.
